Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Wash & trim Brussels sprouts. If they are large, cut them in half.
- Cut each slice of bacon into thirds and wrap around a sprout.
- Line the basket with parchment paper (do not preheat with parchment paper). Place seam side down in the basket and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Repeat with remaining brussels & bacon.
- Bake 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp and brussels sprouts are tender.
Notes
- No Air Fryer? No Problem! These can be baked in the oven at 425°F for about 22-27 minutes or until bacon is crisp and Brussels sprouts are tender.
- Do not preheat the air fryer with parchment paper or it will blow around and burn.
- Thick-cut bacon should need to be partially cooked before wrapping. Air fry thick cut bacon for 3-4 minutes or just until softened and cool slightly before wrapping. Regular cut bacon doesn't need to be partially cooked.
- If the Brussels are large, cut them in half.
- If using frozen Brussels, they do not need to be thawed but the cooking time will need to be increased.
- Cook them seam side down so the bacon does not unravel.
- Brussels can be prepared 48 hours in advance and cooked before serving.
- Don't crowd the basket. The more airflow, the crispier the Brussels will be. Cook in batches if needed.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. They can also be frozen and will last in the freezer for 3 months.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 10 minutes or until heated through.
