Ingredients
- 4 Honeycrisp Apples about 1/3 lb in size
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Remove the core of the apples with a sharp paring knife or apple corer. Use a spoon to carve out more space for the filling if desired.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts.
- Fill each apple with the sugar mixture, then top with 1/2 tablespoon of butter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Place the apples filling side up in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until tender. Enjoy!
