Air Fryer Baked Sweet Potato
Description
The sweet potatoes are washed, pricked multiple times with a fork to allow steam release, and lightly coated in olive oil and sea salt. Arranged spaced apart in the air fryer, they cook at high temperature (400°F) for 40-45 minutes until a knife slides in easily, indicating a tender interior.
The skin becomes slightly crisped by the oil and air frying, while the flesh stays soft and moist. The potatoes are served with a topping of butter, additional salt, and black pepper for a straightforward, natural taste.
This preparation is convenient for a side dish or simple meal component, benefiting from a basic seasoning approach that highlights the sweet potato’s natural sweetness and texture.
