Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops
Description
Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops showcase a simple seasoning mix including paprika, salt, black pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, and garlic powder. Coated lightly with olive oil, the chops receive an even rub of spices that contribute a mild warmth and savory depth. Cooking in the air fryer at 400°F ensures a crust forms around the pork while retaining juices inside, producing tender and flavorful chops without the need to flip them if your air fryer circulates air under the pieces.
The method is direct: preheat the air fryer, coat the meat, place without overlap, and cook until reaching a safe internal temperature of 145°F. Resting the chops after cooking allows juices to redistribute before serving.
Pork chops prepared this way provide a practical option for weeknight dinners where consistent, safe cooking is necessary without long hands-on time. Using a meat thermometer helps avoid overcooking and ensures optimal texture.
The recipe recommends refrigerating leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-7 days to maintain freshness. Adjust seasoning to preference and consider flipping halfway if your air fryer doesn't circulate air well below the meat.
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops approximately 1 1/2-2 inches thick, boneless
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to warm up the air fryer.
- Stir all the seasonings together in a small bowl. Then coat the pork chops with the olive oil and then rub the seasoning mixture into both sides of the pork chops. Use all of the rub for the pork chops.
- Place the pork chops in the air fryer and make sure that they are not overlapping (you may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer and the size of the pork chops).
- Cook for 12-15 minutes until the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F.
- Let the pork rest for 3-5 minutes and then serve.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure pork chops reach a safe internal temperature of 145°F without overcooking.
- If your air fryer lacks air circulation beneath the pork chops, flip them halfway through cooking for even doneness.
- Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days.
