Air Fryer Brats

These air fryer brats are so easy, so good, and they come out perfectly every time. You'll never need another air fryer bratwurst recipe.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 5 bratwurst uncooked
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 5 Buns for serving, if desired

Options

  • maple syrup drizzle
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • tomato sliced or chopped
  • sweet pepper sliced
  • jalapeno pepper sliced or diced
  • olive sliced
  • cheese shredded or sliced

Instructions

  1. Slice onion and get sausages ready to go in the air fryer.
  2. Place brats in your air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry at 350ºF for 7 minutes.
  4. Flip brats and add onions.
  5. Air fry for an additional 7-8 minutes, stirring the onions a few times. Be sure the internal temperature of the brats reaches 160ºF.
  6. Remove from air fryer and place on serving plate.
  7. Serve with vegetables and a potato. OR
  8. Serve on a bun.
