Air Fryer Broccolini
Description
This recipe for Air Fryer Broccolini uses trimmed broccolini coated with a sauce made from sofrito or minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, and seasoning including optional cayenne pepper. The seasoned broccolini is air fried at 400°F in a single layer to ensure crisp edges and tender stems after 5 to 6 minutes.
The soy sauce adds umami depth, while the olive oil provides a coating that crisps nicely under the hot circulation. The optional cayenne pepper introduces a mild heat that complements the natural flavor of the broccolini. Keeping the broccolini in a single layer avoids steaming and promotes browning.
This simple side dish works well with a variety of main courses and offers a quick cooked green vegetable with a firm texture and flavorful finish. Leftover broccolini can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the air fryer to regain crispness.
The notes recommend storing leftovers in an airtight container and reheating in the air fryer to restore the texture, which helps maintain the dish’s appealing crispness after refrigeration.
