Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

Crispy and caramelized, these Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts are perfectly seasoned and topped with a golden Parmesan crumb, making them an irresistible side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved*)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 small garlic minced or pressed through a garlic press, cloves
  • 4 tablespoons Pecorino Romano cheese or Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned breadcrumbs (I like 4C or use gluten-free crumbs)
  • ½ teaspoon parsley dried
  • teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with 1 tablespoon olive oil and ¼ teaspoon kosher salt.  Toss to evenly coat.
  2. Add the sprouts to the air fryer basket and air fry 350F until golden brown and tender, about 14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until crisp tender.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, black pepper and remaining ½ tablespoon oil and mix well.
  4. Open the air fryer basket and evenly spread over the Brussels sprouts, then spritz with olive oil spray. Air fry 350F for 2 minutes until golden.

  • *If really large, quarter them. **Use vegetarian Parmesan cheese for vegetarian.

  • No Air Fryer, No Problem! You can follow the oven temp and time for my Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe – 450F about 15 minutes then top with crumbs and bake 3 to 5 more minutes.
