  • 200 g Lean beef mince
  • 1 tablespoon burger seasoning
  • 2 burger buns
  • 4 tablespoon burger sauce
  • 2 lice cheddar cheese about 25g/1oz each, mature
  • 2 gherkins large; sliced
  • 50 g lettuce

Instructions

  1. Put 200 g Lean beef mince and 1 tablespoon Burger seasoning into a bowl. Mix together so everything is combined.
  2. Form into two patties.
  3. Put the patties into your air fryer, leaving a gap between them.
  4. Cook at 180°C/350℉ for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Build your burger by first spreading the bottoms of 2 Burger buns with 4 tablespoon Burger sauce. Add 50 g Lettuce, cooked burger, 2 slice Mature cheddar, 2 Gherkins, more sauce and the bun top.
  6. Wrap the built burgers in foil and put into the air fryer.
  7. Cook at 180°C/350℉ for 4 minutes.

Notes

  • Handle the meat mixture gently to avoid tough burgers.
  • Chill patties in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking to improve their structure.
  • Press the center of each patty gently with your thumb to prevent swelling during cooking.
