Air Fryer Chicken Legs
Description
This recipe coats chicken legs with a spice mix of cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander, turmeric, kosher salt, and black pepper, blended with olive oil to adhere evenly. The chicken pieces are arranged in a single layer with space between to allow hot air circulation in the air fryer basket.
Cooking at 370°F for an initial 10 minutes, then flipping and cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F ensures the skin crisps without drying the meat. The spices generate a warm, aromatic coating highlighting earthy and mildly pungent flavors from cumin, coriander, and turmeric.
The air fryer method makes this a convenient way to achieve a roasted texture with less oil and cleanup compared to traditional frying. Chicken legs cooked this way can be served alongside vegetables, salads, or grains for a complete meal.

- 2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
