Air Fryer Chicken Thighs
Description
Air Fryer Chicken Thighs use a blend of smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and Parmesan to create a seasoned crust on bone-in chicken thighs. The chicken is tossed in olive oil and seasoning, then arranged in the air fryer basket for cooking. It starts skin side down to enhance skin crispness, then flipped to ensure even cooking until the internal temperature shows it is fully cooked. The air fryer method gives the chicken a balance of crispy skin and tender inside without excess oil.
The finished thighs have a textured, flavorful crust from the dry spices and cheese, while staying juicy inside. The crisp skin provides a contrast in texture, making these suitable for serving with fresh parsley garnish and alongside preferred dipping sauces. They can complement a variety of side dishes or act as a straightforward protein main.
No special preparation beyond seasoning and oiling the chicken is needed, and monitoring the temperature and crispness ensures successful results. The process offers a convenient alternative to pan-frying or oven roasting.
