Air Fryer Chinese Noodles

Report
Air Fryer Chinese Noodles combine precooked noodles with fresh vegetables and soaked soy beans, flavored with soy sauce and vegetable stock. The ingredients are arranged in layers inside an air fryer and cooked using a wok mode, resulting in a balanced and wholesome dish with a blend of soft noodles, tender vegetables, and lightly cooked beans. The method leverages the air fryer for convenient preparation without deep frying.

Description

This recipe uses precooked Chinese noodles combined with finely chopped onions, carrot strips, button mushrooms, and soy beans that have been soaked overnight. The noodles form the base, layered alongside vegetables and soy beans in the air fryer pan. Adding diluted vegetable stock powder and soy sauce adds savory depth and seasoning throughout the dish.

The mixture is cooked using an air fryer with a wok setting for 15 minutes, which gently heats and softens the ingredients without the need for oil-heavy frying. The resulting dish features tender but firm soy beans with a slight bite, softened carrots and onions, and flavorful noodles infused with the soy sauce and stock.

Serving the noodles in bowls captures a warm and approachable meal. Variations can include adding leftover shredded meat or a drizzle of chili sauce for spice.

It’s important to soak the soy beans overnight to achieve the right texture while cooking. The recipe yields about six small servings, suitable for light meals or modest appetites.
