Air Fryer Corn on the Cob

This Air Fryer Corn on the Cob recipe features fresh ears seasoned with vegetable oil, salt, and pepper, then cooked quickly at high heat. The method produces corn with a tender bite and subtle caramelization around the edges, offering a straightforward alternative to boiling or grilling.

Description

The procedure starts by removing the husk and silks from fresh corn ears. Corn is rinsed and thoroughly dried before cutting to fit the air fryer basket if needed. The ears are coated evenly with vegetable oil to promote browning and seasoned simply with salt and black pepper. Cooking at 400°F for approximately 10 minutes allows the kernels to soften while gaining slight roasted notes from the air circulation heat.

The resulting corn maintains a juicy texture with lightly crisped spots, and seasoning stays minimal to highlight natural corn flavor. This easy method suits small batches or when outdoor grill use is unavailable.

Additional toppings can be added after cooking to vary flavors. Suggestions include sprinkling Tajin chili-lime salt for a spicy citrus touch or topping with parmesan cheese to introduce a savory, cheesy element.
