Description

This recipe begins by cubing French bread into roughly 1-inch pieces for even cooking.   • 125 g French bread
  • 3 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 pinch salt sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 1 teaspoon parsley dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules

Instructions

  1. Cut 125 g French stick into cubes of about 2.5cm/1 inch.
  2. Put the bread into a bowl and add 3 tablespoon Butter, 1 teaspoon Garlic granules, 1 teaspoon Dried parsley, 1 pinch Sea salt and 1 pinch Ground black pepper.
  3. Mix well to coat all of the bread. Let rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Put the coated bread into your air fryer in a single layer.
  5. Cook at 200°C/400°F for 4 minutes, shake well then cook for a further 2 minutes.
  6. Transfer the cooked croutons to a paper towel until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Reduce cooking time by 2 minutes for softer croutons, suitable for those with dental sensitivity.
  • Cut bread cubes uniformly to ensure even cooking and crisping on all sides.
  • Shake the croutons halfway through cooking to promote uniform browning and texture.
