Ingredients
- 900 g Minced Lamb/ Ground Lamb
- 1 Tbsp oregano
- 1 Tbsp mixed herbs
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp sweet paprika
- ½ Tbsp garlic powder
- ½ Tbsp onion powder
- ½ Tsp cayenne pepper
- salt & pepper
- Fakeaway Kebab Salad
- 4 Pitta breads
- Cooked Red Cabbage shredded
- ½ cucumber sliced
- 1 white onion peeled and sliced
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
- 240 ml Aioli
- 240 ml Greek yoghurt
- ¼ Tsp Garlic puree
- ½ Tsp parsley
Kitchen Gadgets
- Instant Vortex Air Fryer
Instructions
- Place the lamb mince into a bowl with the seasonings and mix well with your hands until the herbs are coated evenly around the meat.
- Add a layer of foil to your kitchen worktop, and then add the meat, shape like a meatloaf and then tightly wrap in the foil.
- Place the foil wrapped doner meat into the air fryer basket and air fry for 25 minutes at 160c/320f.
- Open the top of the foil to expose the meat and cook for a further 20 minutes at 180c/360f.
- When the air fryer beeps let the meat sit for 30 minutes to cool before slicing. It slices better the longer it is left to cool.
- Then prepare your salad ingredients and place in a serving dish. Also mix together the Greek yoghurt, garlic and parsley to make the garlic yoghurt, and also place into a bowl the aioli.
Notes
- Cabbage. We had some leftovers from our slow cooker red cabbage recipe and used that for the cabbage. You can swap for any lettuce.
