Air Fryer French Fries
Description
The Air Fryer French Fries recipe starts by cutting small potatoes into strips and soaking them in water to reduce starch, which helps in achieving crispier fries. After drying thoroughly, the strips are tossed in vegetable oil to ensure even cooking and browning. The potatoes are cooked in an air fryer at 400°F for about 32-35 minutes with the basket rotating, promoting even crispness. Meanwhile, the seasoning powder is prepared by finely chopping roasted nori seaweed combined with kosher salt and honey powder, giving the fries a subtle umami and sweet note. After air frying, the fries are tossed with a teaspoon or two of this seasoning for a flavorful finish. This technique delivers fries with a crisp exterior and soft interior without deep-frying.
