Ingredients
- 2 Russet potatoes about 1 lb
- 1 Tablespoon avocado or olive oil
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Wash, scrub and dry potatoes. Cut it lengthwise into french fry shapes, about ¼ inch thick. Try to make all the fries about the same size so that they cook evenly.
- Place the fries in a large bowl and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Coat the fries in the oil and salt.
- Add fries to the air fryer in a single layer and cook on 400°F for 12 minutes, tossing once halfway through. You may need to cook these in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Serve fries immediately with ketchup or dipping sauce of choice, if using.
Notes
- Storing leftovers: If you have leftover fries, let them cool completely and transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
- Reheating: To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer at 375°F for a few minutes to restore their crispiness.
