Air Fryer French Fries
Description
This recipe starts by slicing large russet potatoes into quarter-inch sticks which are then rinsed and dried thoroughly for crispiness. The fries are coated with olive oil and a seasoning mix including salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cooking occurs in a preheated air fryer at 380°F, first for 10 minutes, then tossed and cooked an additional 6 to 10 minutes until golden and crisp.
The air frying technique yields fries with a crunchy surface and soft centers without deep frying. The seasoning blend adds mild smoky and savory notes, complementing the potato’s natural flavor.
These fries can be served as a side dish with burgers or sandwiches, or as a snack. Parsley garnish offers a fresh touch. Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 5 days and can be reheated in the air fryer to regain crispness. For larger quantities, cooking in batches and reheating briefly together is recommended.

- 1 lb russet potato 2 large or 3 medium potatoes
- 1 Tbsp olive oil

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days or freeze up to 2 months.
- Reheat fries from refrigerated or frozen state in the air fryer until warmed through for best texture.
- When using a smaller air fryer, cook fries in batches and rewarm together briefly before serving.
