Ingredients
- 8 slices bread like Texas toast or brioche, thickly sliced
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions
- Cut each slice of bread into four equal sticks.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off. Don’t soak them too long, or they’ll get soggy.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with butter or non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the bread sticks in the basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Air fry for 4 minutes, then flip the sticks and continue to air fry for another 4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the French Toast Sticks hot with maple syrup for dipping and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
