Ingredients
- 2 lice white bread thick
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoon whole milk
- 2 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add the butter, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, egg, and cinnamon.
- Mix well to combine everything.
- Slice the bread into sticks and soak them in the mixture.
- Put the soaked bread into your air fryer, leaving room between the pieces. You may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook at 180°C/350℉ for 9 minutes, turning halfway through.
Notes
- Make sure the French toast sticks are not touching in the air fryer.
- You can put a layer of baking paper (parchment paper) that is suitable for the air fryer or an air fryer silicone mat in your air fryer if your basket is not non stick. Don't do this whilst your air fryer is pre-heating (if required).
- Don't over soak the bread, as it will start to fall apart otherwise.
