Description

This recipe prepares large shrimp by coating them first in seasoned flour, then dipping in beaten eggs, and finally pressing into a mixture of panko bread crumbs and seasoning.   • 1 lb Shrimp large, tails removed and deveined
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 egg large
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F.  If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then set the air fryer to 390 degrees F and run for 5 minutes.
  2. Place the flour in 1 bowl, beat the eggs together in a separate bowl and combine the bread crumbs and seasoning together in a 3rd bowl.
  3. Coat the shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip the shrimp in the eggs and then coat in the bread crumbs mixture.
  4. Complete this process with the remaining shrimp.
  5. Spray the shrimp with a the cooking spray.
  6. Add the shrimp to the air fryer basket in a single layer.  Cook for 4 minutes at 390 degrees F.
  7. Flip the shrimp and spray the other side with the cooking spray as well.
  8. Cook for 4 more minutes.
  9. Follow the same process until all the shrimp is cooked.
  10. Serve with your favorite type of cocktail sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to regain crispiness.
