Ingredients
- ¼ cup unsalted butter at room temperature (2 ounces)
- 5 cloves garlic crushed through a garlic press or finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley or chopped fresh parsley
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated (optional*)
- 1 baguette sliced into ½-inch thick slices
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
- Mix the butter, garlic, parsley, and parmesan cheese (if using) in a bowl.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly onto each slice of bread, approximately 1 teaspoon per slice.
- Place the garlic toast slices in the air fryer in a single layer, ensuring that they are not overlapping. Depending on the size of your air fryer, if they don’t fit, you may have to air fry them in two batches.
- Air fry for approximately 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately while they are still warm.
- Any leftover browned slices can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. You can reheat in the air fryer at 300 degrees F for 2-3 minutes until warm.

Notes
- This recipe yields 12 slices of French baguette bread. The nutritional information below is per slice.
- You can use any other bread you have on hand. Italian bread, sourdough bread, French bread, and even ciabatta would all work. However, keep in mind that there is a direct correlation between the thickness of bread and air frying time. We recommend slicing in ½-inch slices for the best results. We also recommend day-old bread as it absorbs the garlic-butter mixture better.
- We found that minced fresh garlic was way better than garlic powder. However, the two can be used interchangeably in a pinch. If you do have the time, we recommend trying this recipe with
- Roasted Garlic
- or
- Air Fried Garlic
- for truly next-level garlic bread.
- If you do not have dried parsley, you can substitute it with fresh, but it should be finely chopped when incorporating it into the butter mixture. Alternatively, you can use other dried or fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, and rosemary.
- Keep in mind that individual air fryer brands may perform differently, so consider this recipe as a starting point and adjust the cook time according to your personal preference.
- : Bring your slices to room temperature, place them on a plate in a single layer, tightly cover them with stretch film, and store them in the fridge for 3 days. When ready to eat, reheat the garlic bread in the air fryer at 300 degrees F. for 2-3 minutes.
- : Bring your slices to room temperature, place parchment paper between each of the slices to prevent sticking, and store them in an airtight Ziploc bag in the freezer until ready to cook.
- : There’s no need to defrost your slices before reheating. Simply place your frozen bread in a 350-degree F. air fryer for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
