Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup butter unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  2. Melt the butter. Then combine it with the minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured cutting board. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into long strips with a pizza cutter. I shoot for 10-12 strips from 1 pound of dough.
  4. Tie the strips into knots and place them in the air fryer basket. Keep them in a single layer so the air can circulate.
  5. Use a pastry brush to coat them with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese.
  6. Air fry for 5-7 minutes.

Notes

  • Don't overthink the shapes. Just tie the dough strips into knots. Keep the knots loose.
  • Homemade dough or store-bought pizza dough works equally well.
  • Make sure you preheat your air fryer for this recipe.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Make sure there is room for the air to circulate and for the dough to expand a bit. Cook in batches if you need to.
  • Use parchment paper in the air fryer to prevent the garlic knots from sticking.
  • You can substitute 1 teaspoon garlic powder for the minced garlic.
