Air Fryer Gnocchi

These air fryer Gnocchi are irresistibly crispy on the outside and tender inside, coated in a flavorful seasoning blend. They are ready in just 20 minutes and are so versatile I use them as a snack, side, or toss them into my favorite dishes.

Ingredients
- 1 lb gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoon finely grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Heat air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl toss well all the ingredients.
- Transfer gnocchi to the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 13-15 minutes, shaking 3-4 times during the cooking process. Gnocchi are done when golden and crispy.
- Garnish with parsley, extra parmesan cheese, and serve with marinara sauce on the side.
Notes
- I always make sure the gnocchi is in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If they are too crowded, they end up steaming instead of crisping, so I cook in batches if I need to. This little step is key for that crispy outside and tender inside texture. Don't skip it!
- When I want to change things up, I swap the olive oil for avocado oil. It gives the gnocchi a slightly richer flavor.
- If I am using Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi, I skip the directions on the bag. They turn out much better when I follow this air fryer method instead.
- I like to try different ways of cooking them, like pan-frying or baking, but the air fryer always gives me the crispiest texture.
- I always play around with the spices too. This recipe is super flexible, so I toss in whatever seasonings I am in the mood for.
