Air Fryer Green Beans
Description
To make Air Fryer Green Beans, fresh beans are washed, trimmed, and dried before coating with olive oil and seasoning with salt and black pepper. Cooking at 390°F in an air fryer for 9 to 11 minutes crisps the beans' surface while keeping a tender bite. Shaking the basket midway ensures even cooking and browning.
Frozen green beans can be cooked similarly, extending the cooking time slightly to achieve the correct texture. The result is a simple side dish with a roasted flavor and a slight char without needing a conventional oven or stovetop.
Leftover green beans stored in an airtight container remain good for up to four days and can be reheated quickly.
