Description

This recipe combines ground beef with simple seasonings such as salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, formed into four patties. A small indent is made in the center of each patty to prevent bulging during cooking. Instructions

  1. Combine meat, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a medium bowl.
  2. Form into 4 patties, about 1/2" thick. Make a small indent in the middle of the patty with your thumb. Brush patties with barbecue sauce if using.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F. Add patties in a single layer to the basket.
  4. Cook 6 minutes. Flip burger over and cook an additional 3-5 minutes or until beef reaches 160°F.
  5. Add cheese if using and cook 1 minute more. Serve on buns.

  • Use ground beef with about 20% fat to maintain moist and flavorful burgers.
