Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 pound russet potato peeled and shredded
  • olive oil spray form
  • 1 tsp salt sea salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. First, spray your air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the shredded potatoes in the basket in an even layer. Pack them together.
  2. Spray the shredded potatoes with more nonstick spray. Sprinkle the sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper all over.
  3. Air fry at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. If you can, carefully flip the potatoes and air fry for an additional 5 minutes. You may need to cut it into smaller pieces to flip over.
  4. Finally, remove the hash browns from the air fryer and serve!

Notes

  • If using frozen shredded potatoes, air fry on each side for 4 minutes or until crispy.
  • To flip the hash browns, use a large spatula or cut into smaller pieces.  They are not overly fragile, but they may split into smaller pieces.
  • We love using 100% olive oil spray for this recipe.  Coconut oil spray and avocado oil spray also work well.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
