Report
These air fryer M&M cookies are crispy outside with a soft center and are just loaded with brightly colored M&Ms candy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Mini M&Ms
Instructions
- Combine the butter and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix until combined with a mixer.
- Add the egg and vanilla and mix until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt and stir. Add to the batter and mix until just combined. If you are using a hand mixer don't add the flour all at once or it will make a mess. Add it in 2-3 additions.
- Fold in the mini M&Ms.
- Set the air fryer to preheat at 350 degrees F for 3 minutes.
- Form the dough into balls using a cookie scoop or two spoons.
- Once the air fryer is preheated put parchment paper in the basket. Then add the dough balls, keeping them spaced a bit apart.
- Press down lightly on the cookie dough balls to flatten them before air frying.
- Air fry at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. Leave the air fryer closed for another 1-2 minutes, then remove the cookies and make another batch.
Notes
- Air fryer cooking times vary, my cookies were made in a 5.8 quart Cosori air fryer. You might need to adjust the cooking time slightly for other air fryers.
- Do not preheat the air fryer with parchment paper in it. The paper is too light and can fly around the basket.
- Make sure you flatten the cookie balls since these won't spread as much in the air fryer as the oven.
- If the dough is too sticky you can refrigerate it for 30 minutes before making the dough balls. This will let you roll the cookies so they are rounder.
- Other types of M&M's will work with this recipe. Peanut M&M's are probably too big for the cookies, but almost anything else should work. Use red and green M&Ms for Christmas or candy corn M&Ms for Halloween.
