Instructions

  1. Into two ramekins add squares of chocolate along with your butter and honey.
  2. Place in the air fryer and cook for 2 minutes at 120c/250f to melt the chocolate.
  3. Stir and add in Greek yoghurt. It will now be lovely and creamy. Then add in your second lot of chocolate which will be crushed. Stir well.
  4. Add in self raising flour and cocoa powder or vanilla if you are using it. Stir well.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes at 180c/360f and enjoy!

Notes

  • Measurements. I have used tablespoons so that you can avoid having to weigh out ingredients.
  • Swap. I used Dairy Milk in this recipe, but you can swap with your favourite chocolate. As long as the chocolate melts well.
  • Portions. This mug cake is for 2 ramekins and you can adjust for how many people you are feeding.
  • Optional. To make it a little more chocolatey you can also add in a little cocoa powder. It makes it richer and gives it a taste similar to shop bought muffins.Important. Always use self raising flour. If you don’t the mug cake will not rise and will be flat.
  • Thanks for reading our air fryer mug cake recipe on Recipe This. We have many more air fryer recipes for you to check out next. Though, our personal recommendation if you have a sweet tooth would be our air fryer chocolate chip cookies or our air fryer apple pie.
