Air Fryer Pears

Air Fryer Pears are ripe Bartlett pears cut into quarters and coated with a blend of maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then air fried until golden and caramelized. The warm spices complement the natural sweetness of the pears, and the air fryer method creates a tender interior with lightly crisped edges. The pears can be served plain or topped with granola, nuts, dried raspberries, toasted coconut, or whipped cream for added texture and flavor.

Description

This recipe begins by preparing Bartlett pears by either peeling or leaving the skin on, then quartering them and removing cores and seeds. The pear pieces are tossed with maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg to evenly coat the fruit with warm spices and natural sweetness. They are arranged in a single layer in the air fryer basket to allow even cooking without crowding, and air fried at 380°F until caramelized and golden.

The method yields soft, tender pears with lightly caramelized exteriors that enhance their flavor and texture. Serving options include garnishes such as dried raspberries, toasted coconut flakes, chopped nuts, granola, or whipped cream, allowing customization for dessert or a sweet snack.
