Description
This recipe uses bone-in pork chops coated in a spice mix combining brown sugar for subtle sweetness, kosher salt, Italian seasoning, smoked and sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and freshly ground black pepper. The pork is brushed with melted butter to help the spice rub adhere and promote a crisp exterior in the air fryer at 400°F.
Cooking takes about 10 minutes flipping halfway through, sufficient to reach a safe internal temperature of 145°F while maintaining juiciness inside. Ingredients
- 4 pork chops 6-8 ounces each, bone in
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning dried
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika sweet
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 tablespoons parsley chopped

Instructions
- Heat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Add the brown sugar, salt, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and sweet paprika to a small bowl. Mix well.
- Brush the butter all over both sides of the pork chops.
- Rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the pork.
- Place the chops in a single layer in the air fryer. You may need to work in batches if they don't all fit. Bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until a thermometer inserted into a pork chop registers 145 degrees F.
- Let stand for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley and serve.
