Air Fryer Pork Ribs

Air Fryer Pork Ribs are seasoned with a rub of brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and white pepper, then cooked in the air fryer for a tender, flavorful result. The ribs are air fried in two stages: first cooked meat side down, flipped, then brushed with BBQ sauce and cooked again for a sticky glaze. This method yields ribs with a balance of smoky spice, sweet glaze, and juicy texture without grilling or oven roasting.

Description

These Air Fryer Pork Ribs begin by coating pork ribs with a dry rub containing brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and white pepper, which imparts smoky, sweet, and savory flavors. The ribs are cut into sections if needed and placed in a single layer in the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking and caramelization.

The ribs are cooked initially at 380°F for 20 minutes on the meat side, then flipped and cooked for another 10 minutes. After this, a generous brushing of BBQ sauce adds moisture and a sticky finish. Cooking continues at 400°F for 5 minutes to set the sauce and create a glazed exterior. A brief resting period lets juices redistribute for tenderness.

This straightforward air fryer method produces pork ribs with a nicely seasoned crust, tender interior, and flavorful sauce coating, avoiding the need for a grill or oven. They can be served with additional BBQ sauce based on preference.
