Air Fryer Potato Chip Chicken
Description
Air Fryer Potato Chip Chicken combines bite-sized chicken tenderloins coated in a flavorful mixture of crushed potato chips and seasonings. The coating includes onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, ranch dressing powder, dried parsley, and a hint of cayenne pepper, which provides a balance of smoky, savory, and slightly spicy flavors. The chicken is first dipped in beaten egg to help the chip coating stick evenly.
Cooking in the air fryer at 400°F crisps the crust while maintaining juicy chicken inside. The quick air frying method ensures the coating becomes crunchy without excess oil absorption. The recipe suggests turning the chicken halfway through to brown all sides well.
The result is a tender chicken snack or light meal with a textured, well-seasoned chip crust. It pairs well with various dipping sauces such as honey mustard, BBQ, hot sauce, or ranch, letting you customize flavors to your preference.
