Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 Tbsp butter 15g
  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped, 60g
  • 1/4 cup celery finely chopped, 30g
  • 5 lices bread cut into small cubes - about 5 cups, stale, 140g
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries I used reduced-sugar, 40g
  • 1 Tbsp sage or 1 tsp dried, fresh
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper ground
  • 2 egg beaten, large

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and set to medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until tender, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. To a large bowl, add the onion and celery, bread cubes, sage, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and beaten eggs.  Mix everything together very well with a wooden spoon and then form into balls with your hands. Add stuffing balls to the fridge for 15-30 minutes (this will help them stay firm and together).
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  4. Remove stuffing balls from the refrigerator. Spray air fryer with cooking spray. Place the stuffing balls in the air fryer so they are not touching and spray all over with cooking spray. Air fry for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve warm.
