Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Description
The salmon is cut into uniform 1-inch cubes and coated with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, which adds subtle smokiness and seasoning. The air fryer cooks them at 350°F for 6-7 minutes, tossing halfway to promote even cooking and a light crust, while preserving a tender interior that flakes easily.
The remoulade sauce complements the fish with a rich blend of mayonnaise, stone-ground mustard, horseradish, celery seed, onion powder, and mild heat from cayenne and paprika. Chilling the sauce for at least 30 minutes melds the flavors before serving.
These salmon bites work well as appetizers or snacks served with the cool, tangy remoulade. Preparation elements like removing skin and seasoning in advance simplify cooking. The recipe suggests alternative sauces like tartar or hot honey for variation.

- Remoulade Sauce: Mix all ingredients in a bowl then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prep Salmon: Remove skin from salmon, if necessary, and cut into uniform 1-inch cubes. Add to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, gently tossing to coat.
- Air Fry: Spray air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray and add salmon in a single layer, spread apart. Air fry at 350 degrees F for about 6-7 minutes, tossing halfway through cooking, until they gently flake with a fork.
- Serve with remoulade on the side, for dipping.
Notes
- Remoulade sauce can be made up to one week ahead and stored refrigerated for convenience.
- Salmon can be cut and seasoned hours or a day before cooking to save time.
- For a different flavor, drizzle hot honey on salmon bites after air frying.
- Tartar sauce is a suitable alternative dip for these salmon bites.
