Air Fryer Seasoned Sweet Potato Wedges

Air Fryer Seasoned Sweet Potato Wedges are cut into medium wedges, tossed with oil and a blend of spices including smoked paprika, cayenne, cinnamon, and garlic powder, then cooked in an air fryer until crisp outside and tender inside. The seasoning mix delivers balanced heat, warmth, and savory notes, making for a flavorful side or snack.

Description

These sweet potato wedges are sliced into uniform wedges to ensure even cooking. They are coated with a neutral oil and a spice blend featuring salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, onion powder, and garlic powder for a depth of flavor that includes subtle smoky, spicy, and sweet undertones.

Cooking in the air fryer at 350°F crisps the wedges while preserving a tender interior. The recipe suggests flipping the wedges halfway through to promote even cooking and browning on all sides. Batch cooking may be necessary for single-layer arrangement to avoid steaming.

The cool-down time after cooking helps the exterior crisp up further. These wedges can be served as a healthful side dish, appetizer, or snack. The seasoning combination makes them distinct from plain roasted sweet potatoes.
