Air Fryer Steak with Garlic Butter

This Air Fryer Steak recipe cooks rib eye steaks to a medium doneness with a simple seasoning of salt and pepper and olive oil before finishing with a dollop of herb garlic butter. The air fryer creates a nicely cooked exterior while keeping the interior juicy, and the herb butter adds a soft, flavorful richness.

Description

This dish uses bone-in rib eye steaks seasoned plainly with salt, pepper, and olive oil before undergoing an air fryer cook at 400°F for six minutes per side to achieve medium doneness. The high heat of the air fryer enables even cooking and a slight crisp crust without needing a grill or pan.

While the steaks cook, a garlic herb butter is prepared by combining softened butter with minced garlic and fresh herbs such as thyme, parsley, or chives, which lends a fresh and aromatic richness when melted over the warm steaks.

After letting the steaks rest to retain juices, they are served with the garlic herb butter spooned over, optionally garnished with additional herbs. This straightforward preparation highlights the meat's flavor enhanced by the butter's creamy, herbaceous notes.
