The most delicious homemade turkey burgers you'll ever try.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon olive oil plus more to spray
- 1 teaspoon onion powder finely chopped, or 1 medium onion
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder minced, or 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese grated; or nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon italian herb blend dried
- 2 tablespoon parsley chopped, fresh
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce soy or coconut aminos
- 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt if using soy sauce; can add up to 1 teaspoon if not using soy
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Slaw
- 1 cup red cabbage finely shredded
- 2 cups cabbage finely shredded, white
- 1 carrot julienne or grated, small
- 1 tablespoon chives finely sliced, or 2 spring onions
- 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise for lighter version you can use 2 tablespoon greek yoghurt and 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
Optional extras
- cheddar cheese slices
- tomato sliced
- onion sliced red or caramelised
- pickles
- lettuce
- mayonnaise
- ketchup
To Serve
- Hamburger Bun
Instructions
- Add all the burger patty ingredients to a bowl and mix to combine.
- Shape into burgers or use a burger press. Top tip is to oil your hands with olive oil.
- Preheat the Air fryer to 380F. Spray the basket with olive oil.
- Carefully transfer the burgers and arrange in one layer. Spray the top generously with olive oil.
- Cook for about 6 min or until cooked through to your liking.
- Mix the slaw ingredients together in a bowl.
- I served mine in a burger bun with slaw, more mayo and some arugula. Add from the optional list as you fancy!
