Ingredients
- 14 oz (400g) white beans rinsed and drained ( I used cannellini beans)
- 2/3 cup (65g) oats
- 1/4 cup (15g) fresh cilantro finely chopped
- 1/2 small onion grated or very finely diced
- 1/2 bell pepper, deseeded preferably grated or very finely diced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 Tablespoon Sriracha sauce or tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- sea salt to taste

Instructions
- Mash the beans in a mixing bowl.
- Add in oats, cilantro, onion, bell pepper, lemon juice, sriracha sauce (or tomato sauce), herbs and spices and mix together.
- Divide and shape into 4 patties.
- Preheat Air Fryer to 350F/180C. Place patties in the basket, spray with olive oil or cooking spray and cook for 9-10 minutes flipping halfway through.
- Create burgers with buns, patties and then desired toppings.

- When cooking your patties from frozen, add a few minutes to the cooking time.
- You may want to refrigerate your bean burger mixture for 20-30 minutes before you form the patties so the oats can soak up any moisture and the mixture firms up.
- Use a measuring cup to make your patties a more uniform size.
- Thicker burger patties may need a few extra minutes of cook time.
- Serve these veggie burger patties with lots of burger sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and whatever other burger toppings you love.
