All Natural Cane Sugar Simple Syrup
Description
All Natural Cane Sugar Simple Syrup is made by dissolving cane sugar in an equal amount of filtered water over medium heat. The mixture is stirred until fully dissolved, then simmered for a few minutes without reaching a boil. After cooling completely, it is poured into a clean container and stored in the refrigerator. This syrup provides a straightforward way to add natural sweetness to drinks or desserts.
The syrup maintains the clean flavor of cane sugar and can be kept indefinitely in the fridge. The lack of additives or preservatives keeps it versatile for general use in cocktails, lemonades, or other recipes requiring liquid sweetener.
Since it contains only two ingredients, the syrup is simple to prepare and reliable to store. This particular recipe recommends cooling in the pan before transferring to jars and notes long shelf life beyond common one-month storage suggestions.
