Amazingly Moist Salmon

Amazingly Moist Salmon features baked salmon fillets topped with a creamy mustard-mayo mixture flavored with fresh parsley and lemon zest. This coating helps lock in moisture during a short, high-heat oven bake, yielding tender, flaky fish with a savory, lightly tangy crust.

Description

The recipe calls for coating salmon filets evenly with a blend of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped fresh parsley, and lemon zest, seasoned with salt and black pepper. The salmon is baked at a high temperature (500°F) on a nonstick-sprayed baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes, until the flesh flakes easily. The mayo-based topping prevents drying and adds a subtle richness combined with the bright flavors of mustard, lemon, and herbs.

The result is salmon that remains moist inside with a flavorful, slightly tangy crust, making it easy to prepare without complex techniques. The short baking time reduces the risk of overcooking while the seasoning complements the natural taste of salmon.

Serving options include pairing the fish with simple sides like steamed vegetables, rice, or salad for a balanced meal.

This straightforward preparation requires minimal ingredients and provides reliable results for moist, tender salmon suitable for weeknight dinners or casual occasions.
