Asiago Pasta Salad
Description
Asiago Pasta Salad features farfalle pasta tossed with a dressing made primarily of mayonnaise, seasoned with garlic powder, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. The addition of finely chopped pimentos and black olives introduces a slightly tangy and briny note, while the grated Asiago cheese brings a nutty and sharp richness to the salad. Cooking the pasta until just al dente ensures a tender yet firm bite that holds up well when chilled. The dressing is mixed with warm pasta first, allowing it to coat the noodles evenly before chilling thoroughly. Serving this salad cold makes it suitable for warm weather or buffet-style meals where a creamy pasta salad provides a satisfying complement to other dishes. The balance of creamy, salty, and savory elements make it versatile for both family dinners and gatherings.
