Avocado and cilantro mayonnaise sauce

This Avocado and cilantro mayonnaise sauce combines creamy avocado with fresh cilantro, garlic, and a hint of lime juice for a tangy, smooth condiment. The use of mayonnaise as a base gives it richness while the green jalapeño Tabasco sauce adds adjustable heat and flavor. The blended mixture creates a versatile sauce with a fresh, slightly spicy taste and a smooth texture, perfect for enhancing a variety of dishes.

Description

Avocado and cilantro mayonnaise sauce balances ripe avocado's buttery texture with bright cilantro and garlic. The mayonnaise (or alternatives like sour cream or yogurt) provides a creamy base, while lime juice adds a citrusy tang to cut through the richness. Tabasco Green Jalapeño sauce introduces a mild spice that can be adjusted to taste, making this sauce customizable to your preferred heat level. The ingredients are blended until smooth, creating a thick, spreadable sauce.

Because it combines fresh herbs and creamy elements, this sauce can be used as a dip, sandwich spread, or topping for grilled meats and vegetables. It enhances dishes with cool, herby notes and subtle heat without overpowering other flavors.

The sauce can be prepared in advance and refrigerated, allowing flavors to blend and making it convenient for meal prep or serving at gatherings.
