Avocado Green Goddess Dressing

Avocado Green Goddess Dressing is a creamy sauce made by blending ripe avocado, garlic, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cilantro, and salt. It has a fresh, tangy flavor with a smooth texture that can be thinned with milk to desired consistency, ideal for salads or as a dip.

Description

This dressing combines cubed avocado with garlic cloves in a blender or food processor, pulsing until coarsely chopped. Plain Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cilantro, and kosher salt are then added and blended until smooth. The mixture is creamy and thick, with bright notes from the lemon and fresh herbs.

Milk can be added gradually to adjust thickness, making the dressing pourable for drizzling over salads or using as a dip. The garlic adds pungency balanced by the creamy texture of avocado and yogurt. Fresh cilantro brings an herby brightness, and the salt enhances overall flavor.

This sauce suits green salads, grilled vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches. It leverages whole fresh ingredients without processed elements, providing a vibrant, herbaceous condiment. The method is straightforward, using blending to create a well-emulsified dressing.
