This simple creamy avocado sauce only takes a few minutes to make and is great on tacos, quesadillas, sandwiches, salads, and more! It can also be used as a dip for vegetables or chips!

Ingredients
- 1 avocado large ripe
- 1/2 cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- 2/3 cup cilantro leaves packed
- 2 green onion chopped
- 1/2 jalapeno pepper seeds removed and diced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- salt to taste, Kosher salt
- black pepper to taste, Kosher salt
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, buttermilk, cilantro, green onion, jalapeno, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and add more salt, if necessary. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more buttermilk until desired consistency is reached.
Notes
- Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
