  • 1 avocado ripe
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch black pepper freshly cracked
  • red pepper flakes optional, any desired toppings
  • olive oil
  • cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and firm.
  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth, then mix in the lemon juice and sea salt.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly onto the toasted bread. Sprinkle with black pepper and any optional toppings. Serve immediately.
