Avocado Tuna Salad
Description
Avocado Tuna Salad brings together the smooth consistency of mashed avocado with the flaked texture of canned tuna, creating a creamy yet slightly chunky salad. The mix of cucumber and celery adds crispness, while minced onion contributes a subtle sharpness. Fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley give a lively herbal note, and a dressing of olive oil and lemon juice ties the flavors together with a gentle acidity. The salad is tossed until the avocado is loosely mashed, integrating the ingredients while maintaining some texture.
The result is a balanced combination of creamy, crunchy, and fresh elements that complement each other well. It's straightforward to prepare with pantry staples plus fresh produce and doesn’t require elaborate cooking.
Serve this salad on toasted bread for a sandwich, in crisp lettuce leaves for a low-carb wrap, or alongside other light dishes. It is suitable for quick meals and can be refrigerated for up to two days for convenience.
