Avocado Tuna Salad Recipe
Description
The salad features canned tuna drained and flaked, mixed with sliced English cucumber, ripe avocado, thinly sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro. The dressing consists of freshly squeezed lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper, which is tossed with the salad ingredients to coat everything evenly. The lemon juice adds brightness and helps maintain the avocado's color, while the oil adds richness without overwhelming the natural flavors.
The combination delivers a mix of creamy avocado texture, flaky tuna protein, and crunchy cucumber alongside the sharpness of red onion. This salad can be served on its own as a refreshing light meal or paired with bread or crackers. It’s straightforward to make, requiring no cooking, and preserves the distinct taste of each ingredient.
