Avocado Tzatziki Recipe

Avocado Tzatziki blends creamy Greek yogurt with mashed avocado, grated cucumber, garlic, and fresh herbs like coriander and mint. The combination creates a smooth, fresh dip with a mild garlic bite and bright citrus from lime juice. Chilling the dip for several hours enhances flavor melding before serving.

Description

This Avocado Tzatziki combines full-fat Greek yogurt and ripe avocado to produce a rich, creamy base. Freshly grated and drained cucumber adds moisture without watering down the dip. Minced garlic contributes pungency, while chopped coriander and mint provide herbaceous, fresh notes. Lime juice injects a slight tartness that balances the richness.

The ingredients are stirred together and can be served immediately, but resting in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours is recommended to allow the flavors to integrate fully. The dip has a smooth texture with a mild tang and herbal freshness.

Serve as a sauce with grilled meats, vegetables, or as a spread. The salt level can be adjusted to taste to enhance all flavors without overpowering the dip.
