Ingredients
- 3 cups Honey Nut Chex cereal If you want you can sub one cup of peanuts for one cups of the Chex mix. I left mine nut free, but peanuts would be yummy!
- 3 cups Chex cereal regular variety
- 7 lices Bacon cooked but not until crispy, diced
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
- Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan on medium heat.
- When the sugar and butter are combined, reduce the burner temperature to low heat and let it sit and bubble for 2 minutes without stirring.
- Combine the Chex cereal and bacon in a large bowl.
- Pour the brown sugar mixture over the Chex and gentle stir to cover the cereal completely with the sugar mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Stir and bake 5 minutes more.
- Cool on the baking sheet and serve!
