Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Bites

Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Bites are chunks of chicken breast tossed in a blend of brown sugar, salt, and pepper, then wrapped in thin strips of bacon and baked until the bacon crisps and caramelizes. The sweet and salty combination creates flavorful, bite-sized pieces with tender chicken wrapped in crispy bacon, ideal for appetizers or finger foods.

Description

This recipe starts with cutting boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips and then into 2-inch chunks. The pieces are coated evenly in brown sugar mixed with kosher salt and black pepper, bringing a balance of sweetness and mild seasoning. Each piece is then wrapped with about one-third of a bacon strip before placing in a baking dish.

Baking at 375 degrees Fahrenheit allows the bacon to cook through and become crisp, while the chicken remains juicy. The brown sugar caramelizes slightly on the bacon surface, enhancing the flavor complexity and adding a sticky glaze.

These chicken bites serve well as appetizers or a side dish, offering a combination of sweet, savory, and smoky elements in one bite-sized portion. The simplicity of the ingredients and method make this an approachable recipe for gatherings or casual meals.
